Collector inspects Distt Hospital

Collector Karmveer Sharma carried out inspection of district hospital to take stock of treatment being provided to patients. He instructed doctors to ensure that proper facilities were given to patients undergoing treatment. Later he carried out inspection and called meeting of medical officers. According to information, Collector Sharma, on Wednesday, inspected the district hospital. He was accompanied by senior officers and medical officers of district hospital. During inspection he sought information on various arrangements made to treat patients.
He also inspected the fencing around covid ward of the hospital to distance local people. Later presiding over a meeting of medical officers, he reviewed efforts being made by the hospital to enhance capacity to increase covid patients. He sought information on efforts made to increase oxygen equipped beds in the hospital. During the meeting, the Collector was accompanied by CHMO Dr Ratnesh Kurariya, Dr C B Arora Civil Surgeon and others.
Over a period of month expansion to provide treatment to covid infected people has been made. The hospital some time back had 30 oxygen equipped beds which has now risen to 150 beds. For critical patients one ICU with 15 bed capacity has been operational.
