In his speeches, he minced no words in criticising the Congress. He said that previous Congress Government headed by Kamal Nath cheated farmers in the name of loan waiver. Fake loan waiver certificates were disbursed, leaving farmers in tight position. He said that now it is up to people to decide which party’s Government is the best. He said that when BJP came to power again, it came to know that Kamal Nath Government had not deposited crop insurance premium.

Former BJP State President Rakesh Singh addressed a public rally in Bioara Assembly constituency. He came heavily on Congress and asked people to give blessings to BJP in by-election so that Shivraj Government can be strengthened in State. BJP State President V D Sharma addressed Mandal Sammelan in Bada Malehra. He said the State was pushed back by previous Congress Government. Every development work in Kamal Nath Government was going to Chhindwara and nothing was being considered for Bundelkhand.
