An important meeting of Management Committee of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Garha was held to discuss significant issues, on Thursday. Collector and Chairman of the School, Karmveer Sharma chaired the meeting. Sharma directed concerned authorities to find land for school’s own building and it should be located in the surrounding area so that students studying in the school do not face much difficulty. It may be noted that the school, which started from the year 2007, is still being run in Rani Durgavati School campus in Garha.

Starting from class I, the school has elevated to class X by 2017. But, due to lack of space, classes of XI and XII standard could not be started in the school. The meeting had the agenda for starting class XI from academic year 2021. Collector Sharma said that it would be appropriate to start class XI only after examining the availability of space in the campus where the school is being run. Later he sought details of the educational achievements of the Kendriya Vidyalaya.

He also inquired about the academic and non-academic staff posted in the school and the online classes being conducted by the school in view of corona protocol and government’s guidelines. The School Principal informed that the KV organisation has instructed officials to start class XI in Commerce faculty from the academic session 2021. After comducting the meeting, the Collector also inspected the school building.
