Weather conditions are passing through transition phase notwithstanding monsoon withdrawal process underway. Now, large swathes of State are having dry weather conditions. Some regions of State have started to feel pinch of mild cold during night hours. Even as monsoon withdrawal process continues, isolated places in state got drenched by rainfall during last twenty four hours.
 
In last twenty four hours, rains battered Lanji (8 cm), Balaghat, Paraswada (5 cm each), Malajkhand (4 cm), Saunsar, Bichia, Mandla, Pandhurna, Seoni (3 cm each), Kevlari, Nainpur, Tamia, Waraseoni, Kotma, Patan (2 cm each) respectively. The forecast of Weather Department says that rainfall and thunder activities are likely in some places of Shahdol division and districts including Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat and Chhindwara. Showers are also likely in few places of Hoshangabad division and districts including Katni, Jabalpur and Narsinghpur. Thunder activities are likely in few places of Shahdol division and districts including Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Chhindwara.
 
As rains have disappeared at maximum places of State, mercury level is gradually soaring. Bhopal recorded maximum temperature at 33.2 degrees Celsius and it was at normal mark. The highest maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius was recorded in Guna, Datia, Gwalior and Ujjain.
