The contest will be between two candidates and considered to be the tough one. While BJP has an advantage of its committed voters being a stronghold constituency, Congress would bank on early declaration of candidate’s name and support of its allies-- Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena. BJP always contested this election as a party so the statement of Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Election in-charge of BJP that the campaign of the Party had begun much earlier though candidate’s name announced now.
