Two youths rape teenage girl in Gorewada forest

A 15-year-old girl was raped by two youngsters in Gorewada forest area after abducting her on a motorcycle, Jaripatka police said. The arrested accused have been identified as Shamshad alias Sam Rafis Ansari (21), and Bablu alias Babbu Mohan Katwate (21), both residents of Vishwas Nagar, Gittikhadan. A police official said that the girl was waiting for her friend in Martin Nagar on Thursday at 3.30 pm.
After waiting for half an hour, she was returning home as her friend did not come there. Meanwhile, the accused came there on a Pulsar motorcycle. They allegedly threatened the girl to kill and forcibly put her on the bike. The girl was taken to Gorewada forest by the accused where they raped her. They released the girl at 7 pm after threatening her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone. After returning home, the girl locked herself in the room at her house.
She then slept without having dinner. In the morning, the mother noticed her daughter was depressed. When the mother asked the girl, she narrated the heinous crime. The mother took the girl to Jaripatka police station and lodged a complaint. After registration of an offence under provisions of IPC and POSCO Act, the cops launched investigation and identified the accused on the basis of CCTV footage. Both accused were arrested by the police.
