Karmchari-Adhikari Federation to observe relay strike in Dec

A delegation of Karmchari-Adhikari Federation led by State Convener Kamal Verma, on Monday, submitted a memorandum to GAD Deputy Secretary Jayshree Jain, addressing to the Chief Secretary. The memorandums read that around 3.99 lakh Government employees and officials besides nonpermanent employees and pensioners, will observe relay strike on December 1, 11 and 19 in protest against betrayal on the part of the government as far as fulfillment of pending demands of the employees are concerned.
Federation’s chief spokesperson Vijay Kumar Jha and Secretary Rajesh Chatterjee said that the federation has demanded Dearness Allowance, Depreciation Allowance, 7th pay scale arrears, 7th pay scale arrears to the public servants of the pre-Diwali state along with the amount of sanctioned increments on sensitive quick legitimate demands like insurance, compassionate appointment of disabled government employees etc. Even after discussion and assurance from Chief Minister Bhupesh Badhel, the employees are feeling cheated. The delegation also included Ramsagar Kosale President Indravati Bhavan, Satyendra Devagan, Amod Srivastava, Santosh Verma etc.
