Explosive material seized from Naxal hideout in Rajnandgaon district

GONDIA , IN a joint operation, the security forces from Gondia and Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh) recovered materials used in blasting explosives and Naxal literature from the hideout in Kahuabhara forest range under the jurisdiction of Gatapara Police Station in Rajnandgaon district on Tuesda morning. The action was carried out under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Vishwa Pansare (Gondia) his counterpart D Shravan (Rajnandgaon) and Additional SP Atul Kulkarni.
 
Additional SP Kulkarni informed that he received confidential information about the Naxal dump in which they have kept arms and material in a hideout. Acting swiftly, Kulkarni coordinated with Rajnandgaon SP Shravan. A joint operation was carried out by Gondia and Rajnandgaon police in the morning hours.
 
The cops recover gun barrel, hand grenades outer cover, electric wires, solar plates, tape bundle, switches, Naxal literatures, plastic drum, electric batteries, etc. It is assumed that the material which could be used in blasting the explosives was kept to target security forces. Police from Deori and Rajnandgaon participated in the operation. Kulkarni informed that from December 2, Naxals PLGA week is scheduled and material they have kept in hiding out may be used.
