Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised development works being carried out under Self-Reliant India, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) and other schemes of the Central Government during the COVID pandemic in Chhattisgarh. Prime Minister Modi held a meeting with Chief Secretaries of states virtually on Wednesday. He discussed about the corona related issues like financial assistance, hospital structure, ration and employment etc under Pradhan Mantri Pragati Portal, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), development of the district as an export and the agricultural reforms under Self-Reliant India through the Pradhan Mantri Pragati Portal in the meeting.
 
Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh Mandal informed the Prime Minister that a total of 1,028 complaints related to COVID pandemic were received in CP Gram Portal in Chhattisgarh, in which 1,027 complaints were disposed of. Labour Department, Government of Chhattisgarh distributed Rs 12.57 crore among 18,087 labourers during the pandemic.
 
The State Government has also framed guidelines for private hospitals for treatment of corona patients, he added. Mandal further informed that cent per cent distribution of grains and grams under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana was held in State. 29.35 lakh people were benefitted under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) during the pandemic. All complaints received through CP Gram Portal under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) were disposed of. Chhattisgarh has secured seventh position under Self-Reliant India. A total of 50,753 applications were received under the Self-Reliant India, in which amounts for 15,076 cases were distributed among the beneficiaries digitally.
 
The Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh informed the Prime Minister that district hub promotion committee has been constituted in all districts of the state for development of the districts as an export hub. A district action plan will be made by December 31 this year, he added. Mandal informed the Prime Minister regarding the agriculture forms that nodal officer for AIF has been appointed and a plan has been made to include FPO and SHG in the AIF. ‘ The Chief Secretary informed that the Chhattisgarh Government has completed all formalities regarding a proposal for installation of slurry pipeline in 88.831 hectares.
