Women bikers of ‘Tigress on Trail’ travelling 1,500 km in Madhya Pradesh reached Bhopal on Wednesday. Women bikers from all over the country covered five national parks in 6 days showcasing message of women empowerment. G Meenakshi Rao, the leader of the Bike Riders Group from Indore, said that,” this is the first time that a group of women have taken such a long ride in the country. We saw national parks. Panna National Park’s night safari was thrilling.

We saw a lot of animals there. When Tiger did not show up in Bandhavgarh, we were quite happy when all the animals were seen in Panna Night Safari. In a way, it was also an example of women empowerment, how women get out of the house and live their dreams.” Silvana, who came from Italy at the rally, said that,” This trip is a great example of women’s empowerment in India.

The potter village, cultural and folk traditions are amazing and very colourful here. There was a warm welcome and safe atmosphere in all the places visited .It is worth mentioning that the first women biking trail (Tigress on the Trail) in the state of MP Tourism Department was organised by was flagged off by the Tourism Minister Usha Thakur, from Bhopal promenade on November 19.
