BMC removes illegal hoardings from places

BMC team had to face ire from hoarding directors and others but there was heavy police force to manage the protest 
 
Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) removed illegal hoarding from Bhojpur, Vallabh Bhavan , New Market, Fortune city area etc. A total of Rs 3,32,310 was also collected as revenue from the violators. Despite facing huge protest, Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s anti-encroachment cell removed illegal hoardings, frames and structures from various places BMC has intensified the drive since last month.
 
Areas which were targeted on Wednesday also include Pull-Bogda, Ashoka Garden Chowraha, Apsara Talkies, Indrapuri, Sonagiri, Chinar Park (Link Road No-1). However, the BMC team had to face ire from hoarding directors and others but there was heavy police force to manage the show and the BMC removed illegal hoardings. BMC administration had already sent notices to owners and directors of advertising hoardings but they did not turn up to remove themselves.
 
Three truckload frames, structures and hoardings were seized and sent to BMC store. All the operation was executed amidst BMC officials and anti encroachment force. According to BMC anti-encroachment squad the drive will be continued against illegal hoardings and encroachment as BMC administration is now committed in this regard. BMC administration already enjoys support from police department so, BMC team removed the encroachment and hoarding without any hesitation.
