Ahead of the counting of votes for by-election in Marwahi Assembly Constituency, an all party meeting was called by the District Electoral Officer (DEO) on preparations for counting. All preparations for the counting of votes have been completed and one-day ahead of counting, i.e., on November 9, a mock counting exercise will be conducted in the presence of representatives of all political parties and will be participated by all government officials and employees who’re part of the counting process.
 
Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi (GPM) Collector and District Electoral Officer Doman Singh gave a detailed presentation on the counting process to be held on November 10 to the representatives of all political parties. He also explained the guidelines issued by Election Commission of India as well as arrangements which will be made on the counting day.
 
During the meeting the representatives were also informed about the counting process of postal ballots. It was also stated that no representative of any political parties will enter counting centers with pen, paper, mobile, calculators, etc. The District Electoral Officer informed that counting agents will be allowed to sit in their respective counting rooms only and will not be allowed to venture in other counting rooms.
