AN ASHRAM belonging to Namdev Das Tyagi also known as Computer Baba was razed in an action to remove encroachment by the administration in Indore on Sunday. All the material was safely removed before demolishing the encroachment.
 
At the same time, action was taken to send Computer Baba to jail, taking him into police custody under preventive detention for resisting and obstructing Government work. Under the action taken by the administration, total seven people, including Computer Baba, have been sent to jail. Major action has been taken in Indore district to remove the encroachment. The Government land encroached by Computer Baba in Jambudhihapsi village was freed on Sunday. The action was taken by joint team of district administration, police and Indore Municipal Corporation. SDM, Hatod, Shashwat Sharma informed that encroachment by Computer Baba on Government land Khasra no 610/1 and 610/2 was found in Jambudhihapsi village of Hotad Tehsil. In this regard, revenue administration passed an order to free Government land from an unauthorised occupation, imposing a penalty of Rs 2,000 against him.
 
This action has been taken by the administration in the event of not removing encroachment from Government land. ADM Ajay Dev Sharma said that land from which the district administration has removed the encroachment costs about Rs 80 crore. The entire area is of more than 40 acre. A well planned Gaushala will now be built here. Along with this, a religious site will also be developed here. A proper action plan will be prepared by the district administration in this regard.
