Health Minister T S Singhdeo inaugurated five Urban Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in three cities –two each in Raigarh and Jagdalpur, and one in Bhatapara, of the state. The health centres located at Bhanpuri, Rajatalab, Bhatagaon in Raipur districts, were upgraded and named as ‘Hamar Aspatal’. Out Patient Department (OPD) facility will be open from 8 am to 8 pm daily at these centres. Six new health centres were inaugurated in Baloda Bazaar.
 
As per information the inauguration was done from his official residence located at Civil Lines through video conferencing. After inauguration of OPD at Bhanpur, Rajatalab and Bhatagaon the health service was started by him.
 
He performed Bhumipujan for construction of new Primary health centres at Kashiramnagar and Mathpurena in Raipur and three primary health centres in Lakholi Panchayat of Rajnandgaon. He emphasised that with the new facilities about 7 lakh people will get better health facility. He appealed the public representatives to find out the shortcomings of the health centres so that they can be resolved.
