TIGER Group of Adventure and Krida Bharti have organised a Nagpur to Shegaon Cycle Rally. Around 10 cyclists from Nagpur are taking part in the rally. The rally was flagged off by Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, Director, Physical Education and Sports Department, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj square on Friday.

 

The cyclist will cover the distance of 350 kms in two days. On the first day, they will complete 200 kms while the remaining distance will be covered the next day. The cycle rally is being held with messages of ‘save environment’, ‘save petrol’, ‘save water’ and ‘fight against coronavirus’. Nagpur’s cyclists participating in the rally include Ravindra Tarare, Sandeep Vaidya, Akshay Yeole, Sanjay Fartode, Arvind Mahakalkar, Prasad Deshpande, Amol Dhoble, Shrikant Uikey, Namdeo Raut and Atul Tapse. The flag-off programme was conducted by Sanjay Batwe, swimming coach while Prakash Nikam, Krida Bharti official, proposed a vote of thanks.
