NAGPUR’S talented yoga player Devyani Donge emerged second best in the Online Asian Yoga Championship that concluded recently. Devyani, a student of Sewadal Mahila Mahavidyalaya, won the medal in Under-25 age group for girls.The event was hosted by Five StarWelfare and Sports Club that is affiliated to Yoga Association of India. As many as 1800 Indians participated in the tournament. In the first ever International Yoga Olympics that was conducted on September one, the city girl had finished a creditable overall 15th and ninth among Indians.

 

The event was jointly held by International Yoga Federation and International Yoga Olympics. Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, Director, Sports and Physical Education Department, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, congratulated and felicitated Devyani for her achievement.
