Chief Minister assured that no one’s land will get submerged in the Seep river irrigation project
 
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that forest rights pattas will be given to tribal families occupying forest land before 2006. No one’s land will be submerged in the Seep river irrigation project, and water will reach the fields through pipes from the project. By next year, 20 thousand acres of land of 24 villages will get irrigation facility through the Rs 175 crore Seep river irrigation project. Chouhan was distributing forest rights pattas to tribal families in Bhilai village of Nasrullaganj tehsil in Sehore district on Sunday.
 
Forest rights pattas were distributed to 1216 beneficiaries in the programme. Forest rights were given to the forest dwellers of Ichawar, Ashta, Nasrullaganj and Budhni. Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel, MP Ramakant Bhargav and Rajya Sabha Member Sumer Singh Solanki were present in the programme. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Sai Prasad Company will not be spared as it has not given compensated the farmers for their land. The assets of the company have been confiscated and this property will be sold to provide compensation to the farmers. He instructed the collector to take immediate action.
 
‘All will get concrete houses and ration’ Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured the tribal families that all of them will be provided concrete houses under the PM and Mukhya Mantri Awas Yojana and that they need not worry. Kisan Samman Nidhi will also be given to all the families getting forest rights pattas along with all government schemes. No poor person will go hungry.
