Christmas just two days away, pre-Christmas celebrations has begun with joy and enthusiasm in the State capital amid covid-19 protocol. People have geared up for the celebrations. While the city can be seen wearing festivity outfit shining in red and white theme. Santa mannequins, Santa caps, outfits are being sold in the markets and city streets. Also, main attraction in the city is Christmas tree decorated with beautiful adornments is alluring people especially children.

 

Streets are full of small vendors selling Santa caps by roadside. Children are seen buying Santa caps and Christmas trees. Every year pre-Christmas celebrations are marked in every nook and corner of the city. Jesus Christ was born on December 25. But prior to this day, pre-Christmas celebrations add more excitement to the celebrations.

 

Decorated Christmas trees and Santa mannequin can be seen showcased in front of showrooms and in malls adding to the revelry. Chapels are also decorated beautifully with adornments, bells and lights. Special prayers and religious events are being held in churches to celebrate birth of Lord Jesus Christ. Tableaus of Lord Jesus Christ are also displayed in churches. People have started visiting churches keeping in view the precautionary measures of covid-19.
