‘Yoga brings hope, enthusiasm and positivity into one’s life’

“Yoga is an ancient art of India which brings hope, enthusiasm and positivity into one’s life,” said School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar on Wednesday. The Minister gave the statement while addressing prize distribution ceremony of an online yoga competition. Parmar added that efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, yoga has once again regained its international identity, which is a matter of pride for us.
 
The Minister also said that coronavirus has surely affected lives of many across the nation but patients and discipline with which the country followed the lockdown is commendable. The ancient art of India- Yoga was accepted by the people of India when the work was unable to deal with this outbreak. India has given a way to live to the world, we know how to our country once again a ‘Vishwa-Guru’ and has to also achieve the PM Modi’s dream of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, the minister added.
 
Sinchal Nagar of St Raphael School bagged first prize in the competition while second place was bagged by Arpit Singh Tomar of St George School, while Kartik Agrawal of Sagar Public School stood third in the competition. Parmar honoured all three winners with trophies and cash prizes. Trainers Ram Kishore Kelkar and Rahil Khan were also feted by the Minister for their contribution in the field of yoga.
