Adhartal police arrested youths involved in smuggling and trade of fire arms and narcotics substances. Cops have seized five country-made pistols and 10 live cartilages. It may be mentioned that Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna has issued a strict order to identify people involved in illegal trade, smuggling of fire arms and narcotics. In compliance of the orders under the direction of Additional SP (City), Agam Jain and CSP Adhartaal, Ashok Tiwari the Adhartaal Police busted the ongoing trade of illegal arms. Police arrested five accused in this case. According to the information, on Wednesday morning, a tip-off was received about a youth identified as Vivek Pandey alias Chuha standing near Adhartaal Pond with a pistol.
 
Police rounded up the accused. During interrogation, he informed that he was a resident of Welcome Colony, Patel Nagar Suhagi. In frisking police recovered one pistol and two cartilages. He further revealed names of people to whom he sold pistol including Anshul Pandey of Suhagi, Nirbhai alias Aditya resident of Sanjay Nagar, Amit alias Paua Patel, resident of old Kanchanpur and a minor 16 year-old young boy with one country made pistol each and two live cardilages.
 
Police have recovered the arms and registered a case under section 25, 27 Arms Act and are continuing the interrogation. The team involved in nabbing the arm suppliers and recovering arms sold to the customers includes SHO Shailesh Mishra, Sub Inspector, Anil Kumar Bharat singh, Mahendra Jaiswal, Head Constable Rajesh Verma, Santosh Pandey, Constable Mohan Singh Devendra Singh Reetesh Shukla, Pawan Tiwari, Santulal Uikey and others.
