Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner KVS Chaudhary visited various localities of the city and took stock of cleanliness arrangements on Thursday. Wherever he found work unsatisfactory, he expressed his displeasure and also took action against officer concerned. During his visit to localities, he also directed to remove posters, palm plates, banner, hoarding and asked for action against people concerned.
 
During inspection, he found cleanliness arrangements unsatisfactory in Sonia Gandhi Colony, Naveen Nagar and expressed displeasure in this regard. He ordered for deduction of seven day salary and issuance of show cause notice to Assistant Health Officer of Zone number 11 and Health Observers of Ward number 39 and Ward number 41 respectively. In the meantime, he directed to make cleanliness arrangements better in public toilets and to increase green cover of parks, pathways etc. Overall, he visited places such as Arera Hills, Lili Talkies, Chetak Bridge, Prabhat Chauraha, Ashoka Garden, Sonia Gandhi Colony, Naveen Nagar, Aishbagh Stadium etc on Thursday.
 
He also took stock of works related to installation of statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Arera Hills and directed to complete the remaining works at earliest. He directed to start fountain at Lili Talkies Square and to remove banner, posters etc. During his visit to old Aishbagh, Sonia Gandhi Colony and Naveen Nagar, he also interacted with local people and tried to know their views. People complained that garbage collection vehicle is not regular in their areas and due to this reason they faces problem.
