Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat administered oath to officials to make voters aware of the Government’s commitment towards openness and integrity of its administration
 
 
Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat administered an oath of Good Governance to officials at division office on the eve of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary, in Bhopal on Thursday. Good Governance Day is celebrated annually on December 25, birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. Notably, Good Governance Day was founded in 2014 to honour of Vajpayee by creating awareness among citizens of Government accountability.
 
In line with this theory, Good Governance Day has been proclaimed a working day for the nation. The Divisional Commissioner administered oath to officials to make voters aware of the Government’s commitment towards openness and integrity of its administration. On this day, strong Government is celebrated to promote people’s well-being and improving. It is praised for standardising operation of the Government and for making it a highly efficient and responsible Government for national people, the Divisional Commissioner said.
 
Meanwhile, oath of good governance was also administered to officials of Collectorate by Additional Collector Umrao Singh Maravi. Officials vowed that with true devotion I will always be determined to set highest standards of good governance in the State and will make every effort to make governance more transparent, participatory, public welfare focused and accountable. They also committed, “I will always be ready to achieve the goals to improve the standard of living of the citizens.”
