Investigating the death case of a woman, Tilwara police have registered a case of murder while further investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the killer, on Friday.

 

It may be noted that, on December 23, the body of an elderly woman, Siya Bai Vishwakarma (60), resident of Shastri Nagar, Bada Patthar in Tilwara was found at Adhiyari Bagh. Learning about the incident, a police team reached the spot where a woman Rajni Vishwakarma (28), resident of Shastri Nagar, Bata Patthar informed that she was working as cook. On December 22, her mother Siya Bai went for finding work as labour at Bairo Baba square, Shastri Nagar but she could not return home till late night.

 

On December 23, she reached to find her mother at Bairo Baba square and learnt that the body of an elderly woman was found at under construction house of Aditya Tiwari in Adhiyari Bagh. Receiving the information, she rushed the spot and found the body of her mother.

 

Prima facie, police found blood marks on the head of thte woman and sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama. Police mortem report confirmed that the woman was killed by strangulation by her muffler.

 

Taking a serious note into the case, Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna constituted a team under the supervision ofAdditional SP (Rural), Shivesh Singh Baghel comprised of CSP, Bargi, Ravi Chouhan and SHO of Tilwara police station, Satish Patel for investigation.
