Members of Dharma Sena have charged the Madhotal police of being careless in taking action against a man involved in illegal transportation of Gauvansh and handed over a memorandum to take action against corrupt police personnel, on Saturday. State President of Dharma Sena, Yogesh Agrawal informed that acting on the information of illegal transportation of cattle, he along with other activists reached at Katangi by-pass area.

They learnt that a truck laden with illegal stock of around 50-60 cattle was stopped at Katangi by-pass due to technical fault. Cattle were brutally filled in the truck and 8-10 cows were killed in the truck. They found that a man Sushil Vishwakarma who is working for seizing financed vehicles and had hired a big yard for parking of vehicles reached the spot and took the cattle at his yard. He then called a mechanic for truck repairing. He shifted the cattle in truck after its repairing which moved ahead the next day morning.

Vishwakarma took the carcasses of Gauvansh and started efforts for its trading to butcher house. Pointing out the situation, they had informed to SP Siddharth Bahuguna, Additional SP (Crime), Gopal Prasad Khandel and reached the spot where cattle were kept at the yard. Two policemen from Marhatal police station and two crime branch personnel reached the spot and tried to hush-up the issue after settling the issue with Sushil Vishwakarma. Yogesh Agrawal, Arvind Baba, Gaurav Kori, Akash Thakur and others have charged the working of police and demanded to take action against the accused Sushil Vishwakarma and others or else they will start a massive protest in the coming days.
