POLICE arrested two more accused in the honour killing case, reported from Krishna Nagar, Supela, Bhilai on October 11. Police sources informed that the accused arrested by police were identified as K Ravi and Ramesh Boi, both residents of Krishna Nagar, Supela, Bhilai. The police said that after establishing the involvement of the accused K Ravi and Ramesh Boi police arrested them in connection with the honour killing case on Sunday noon. Talking to The Hitavada, D K S Sisodiya, Station House Officer, Supela Police Station informed that as per the criminal charges established against the accused in the fact finding investigation, the accused K Ravi, the brother of the victim girl Aishwarya Kuppal, and Ramesh Boi, the brother-in-law of the victim boy Shrihari Kuppal assisted for setting afire the bodies near anicut of Shivnath river in Jewra Sirsa, Durg.
 
In this connection the police also seized a moped which accused duo used for reaching the spot for committing the crime. The accused K Ravi and Ramesh Boi were absconding for sometime, but police succeeded in tracking down them and arrested them. It may be recalled that in the honour killing case, Aishwarya Kuppal and Shrihari Kuppal, the cousins and residents of Krishna Nagar, Supela, Bhilai on October 10 late evening were thrashed severely and afterwards they were poisoned to death by their relatives.
 
The accused afterwards transported the bodies in a car and set afire it near Ganiyar anicut of Shinath river in Jewra Sirsa, Durg. The victims Aishwarya Kuppal and Shrihari Kuppal, the cousins were in relationship and they were eloped during September month this year. The missing complaint was filed in this regard on September 21. In the missing the police traced the cousins in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in coordination with local police. After being brought here, Aishwarya and Shrihari were produced in concerned SDM court on October 7 and afterwards handed over to their parents. The parents and the relatives were strongly opposing the relationship between cousins, but they continued in spite of warnings.
