Public representatives from Bijapur raises various demands with CM

Public representatives from Bijapur called on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his official residence on Saturday. The delegation of public representatives was led by Congress MLA from Bijapur Vikram Mandavi. During interaction with the Chief Minister, the public representatives expressed their gratitude for distribution of forest rights certificates and implementation of various public welfare schemes. Interacting with the public representatives, the Chief Minister sought information regarding the agricultural works being carried out on land allocated under forest rights certificates and suggested them to plant fruit-bearing plants like mango, cashew, jackfruit along with medicinal plants like turmeric, tikhur, etc.
 
Sant Kumari Mandavi, Bijapur Zila Panchayat Member urged the Chief Minister to open a branch of Co-operative Bank in gram panchayat Jangla. She informed that the Jangla paddy procurement centre is catering to 14 gram panchayats. She also urged the Chief Minister to make arrangements for a regular doctor and ambulance at Sub Health Centre in Jangla so that better health facilities can be provided to the people of the area. Gram panchayat Jangla Sarpanch Budhram Poyam expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for distribution of forest rights certificate and informed that since some villages under Jangla, Kondoji, Titondi, Matwada village panchayats have come under Bhairamgarh Sanctuary area, the villagers there have been deprived of forest rights certificates.
 
He urged the Chief Minister to declare these areas outside sanctuary areas, so that forest rights certificates are provided to these villagers. Janpad Member Sudhoram Mandavi urged the Chief Minister to permit usage of Pota Cabin lying vacant in Jangla under Bhairamgarh development block, as students’ hostel, so that an environment for good education can be provided to the students. The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the problems of public representatives and assured them to consider them sympathetically.
