Covid-19 norms flouted openly during the March by members of Youth Congress 
 
Youth Congress National President B V Shrinivas was in the State capital for a day-long visit on Sunday to support Yuva Shakti Samagam and Kisan Swabhimaan March. Hundreds of partymen participated in the programme without wearing masks and flouting social distancing norms. Recently, seven MLAs in the State have tested covid-19 positive, the Yatra was taken out violating pandemic guidelines.
 
Senior leader from the State, including former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh, were also present during the programme. Criticising the Government, National President B V Shreenivas said that youth and Congress are standing with the farmers and no further injustice with farmers will be tolerated. The function was arranged for newly elected office-bearers of the Youth Congress.
 
After the function, Youth Congress took our a march led by Shrinivas in support of farmers’ protest against Centre’s three agriculture reforms laws. The March taken out by Youth Congress created rush at Link Road and common people faced inconvenience while passing through the road. Traffic system from PCC to Board office was badly affected. During the march, Youth Congress raised slogans against the Centre and demanded to take back the agriculture reform.
