Madhya Pradesh Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company (MPPKVVC) will establish new Operation and Maintenance Division at Bijawar in Chattarpur and bring pace in net metering to promote solar power generation in the new financial year.

 

This was decided in the 94th meeting of Board of Directors of Madhya Pradesh Poorva Kshetra Vitran Company Limited (MPPKVVCL) held at state electricity headquarters, Shakti Bhawan, on Tuesday. Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, Managing Director, Akash Tripathi chaired the meeting while MPPKVVCL, MD, V Kiran Gopal was present and Directors, IIT Roorkee, Professor, HO Gupta, IIITDM, Professor Aprajita Ojha attended the meeting through video conferencing. Directors reviewed the ongoing development works and discussed the minutes of previous meeting. MD, Akash Tripathi directed the officers to put-up vigilant check on power pilferage and taking necessary initiatives for recovery of pending revenue.

 

During the meeting, directors approved the appointment of new members include B. Chandrashekhar, Divisional Commissioner, Jabalpur and Manoj Kumar Jain, Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, Madhya Pradesh Government, Bhopal. Discussions were held to ensure cent percent meterized electricity consumption in urban areas in the new financial year. Board meeting was followed by Audit Committee and Management Committee meetings. Kavita Batla, CGM (HRM), Chetan Jaiswal, CFO, G. Vasnik, CGM (Commercial), Anil Agrawal, CGM (Purchase), Ashok Dhurve, CGM (RP), VK Jain, CGM (Works), Abhay Vishnoi, CGM (IPDS), Vipin Dhagat, Head, Computer Operation and System and other officers of Corporate Office attended the meeting.
