Cyber police have issued an advisory to make people aware from becoming victim of fruads in the name of online loans. Cyber police said that it is often seen that people are lured by cyber ‘thugs’ in the name of providing online loan through various Apps. Normally, through the medium of loan application, people are asked for permission needed to access contact details and storage access.

 

In the temptation of getting loan, naive people give these permissions. The fraudsters use these secret informations illegally to cheat people via e valet and other medium. The advisory issued by crime branch says that people should not install any app from unknown source and nor access permission should be given. Fake Apps should not be used. Before believing on any app, its review, comments and ratings should be read. The authenticity of the app should be checked.
