All these sporting activities were banned during the long coronavirus-forced lockdown for over eight months. But with situation improving, the concerned authorities relaxed the rigid norms and cricketers, tennis players, paddlers and gym enthusiasts are flocking once again at the venue. “We have three major sporting activities at our venue — cricket, lawn tennis and table tennis.

With top Ranji cricketers like Rajneesh Gurbani, R Sanjay and others coming from our club, we have a rush of young cricketers. But we are following the protocols and SOPs in place and have restricted admissions this time,” informed Dr AP Joshi, Director, DACSA.“Not only young and upcoming cricketers, our wickets are booked regularly by doctors and CAs who play for recreation,” Joshi added. Coaches including Prashant Bambal, Prashant Kantode, Sameer, Shailesh Rahulkar and Dhobe are taking care of cricketing activities in morning and evening sessions.
