Twenty-seven divyang couples tied knot during 13th state- level free handicapped mass marriage ceremony organised by Akhil Bhartiya Viklang Chetna Parishad (ABVCP), Central Marwari Yuva Manch, Kanyakubj Sabha and Board of Education and Senior Citizen welfare forum on Sunday at Ashirwad Bhawan Baron Bazaar. Satyendra Agarwal, President ABVCP and Program Coordinator Ghanshyam Poddar, informed that Satyana Narayan Sharma, MLA Raipur Rural was the chief guest during the mass marriage ceremony.
 
Social worker Sitaram Agarwal was special guest besides the program convenor Virendra Pandey, former Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Finance Commission, Kanyakubj Sabha and Board of Education Secretary Santosh Dubey Provincial President Sachin Agarwal Provincial General Secretary Santosh Tiwari National General Secretary Madan Mohan Agrawal Co-coordinator of the program Anuradha Dubey Senior Citizen President KP Saxena Marwari Yuva Manch President Agarwal and Secretary Kamal Gupta were present while the program was chaired by Kanyakubj Sabha and Board of Education President Arun Shukla.
 
Arya Samaj’s Chhattisgarh Chief Acharya Anshu Dev, Acharya Sanjay and Acharya Mukesh along with their 25 co-Acharyas, with their Vedic customs, carried out mass marriages of handicapped young men and women decorated in full traditional attire. Inter-caste marriages also took place in the ceremony. Chief Guest Satyanarayan Sharma while blessing the married couples said that by adding the disabled to the mainstream of society, the Disabled Consciousness Council has done a commendable job, the service of the disabled is the greatest human service on this occasion, Sitaram Agarwal gave all possible help to divyangs.
