AFTER hearing habeas corpus petition, single bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court comprising Justice Nandita Dubey has granted four weeks’ time to the State Government to file fresh status report before the court. During hearing, Government Advocate for the respondent State was granted four weeks’ time to file a fresh status report. The single bench has listed this matter after four weeks. In previous hearing of the case, Preetam Singh Valre, SDO (P), Gotegaon, Narsinghpur, had present in person before the court.
 
Counsel for the respondent State that there is previous enmity between the parties and FIR and Cross-FIR were lodged against each other. Though, the statements of respondents and the other persons have been recorded, however, the corpus is not traceable. It is prayed that further four weeks time may be granted to file fresh status report. Time had granted by the single bench. The present petition has been filed by petitioner Gujratiya Vishwakarma herein who is wife of the missing corpus. Undisputedly, the missing corpus Ramgarib Vishwakarma is 71.
 
According to the petitioner, wife of the corpus, he is missing since September 8, 2019, undisputedly as per documents filed by the petitioner herein, the report of the missing person has been filed after delay of five days on September 13, 2019. The complaint does not disclose any reason for the delay. This court has gone through the complaint which has been preferred before the SHO of Police Station-Naigarhi, Rewa district. There is a specific allegation against the respondents that they entered into the house of the corpus and the petitioner on September 8, 2019, at around 2:30 am caused injury to them with lathis and took away the petitioner’s husband.
