North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) will honour Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Speaker of Chhattisgarh Assembly Charandas Mahant in New York on February 17. The NACHA is hosting a historical felicitation event to honour Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Charandas Mahant. Bupesh Baghel along with Dr Charandas Mahant, Chief Secretary R P Mandal, Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo, Principle Secretary Gaurav Dwivedi and other delegates from CSDIC is visiting United States of America (USA). Bupesh Baghel is coming to Harvard University for two days Indian Leaders conference where he will be a keynote speaker. Bhupesh Baghel will be addressing the Non-resident India (NRI) community in New York on February 17.
 
The NACHA is hosting a meet and greet dinner reception where more than 100 families from Chhattisgarh NRIs will be gathering to meet the Chief Minister. This is the first event in the USA since the Chhattisgarh state was formed in the year 2000. This event will help reinforce the long-term partnership between the Chhattisgarh government and NACHA, solidify the vision of NACHA to promote rich and vibrant culture of Chhattisgarh internationally.
 
The Chief Minister will address the NRI community and explain what is Gadhbo Nava Chhattisgarh and how the NRI community can contribute to it. This is an excellent opportunity for both NACHA and the Chhattisgarh government to work together on the development and promotion of the state. Baghel will get a chance to meet many NRIs from Chhattisgarh, exchange ideas, which will further be evaluated by the Chhattisgarh government. President of the NACHA Ganesh said that the NACHA has been trying since long to make the NRIs division in the Chhattisgarh government, which will focus to build relationships with the NRI community similar to Gujarat, and other southern states of India.
 
The event will help delegates understand how the NRI community can be valuable to the growth of the state. He mentioned that the NRI community is very excited and traveling from across the USA to welcome the Chief Minister in New Jersey. He mentioned that hosting CM will also help NACHA to expand its vision globally and unite the community across the world. President of NACHA New York Chapter Uma Joshi, the NACHA board member Ashok Upadhyay and founder member Deepali Saraogi are working to make this event a grand success along with local chapter executives. The executive committee members of the event, are Ruhi Upadhyay, Pearl Wilson, Vibhashree Sahu, Nirmal Kumar, Nitin Vishwakarma, Pallav Shah, Atma Singh, Amit Jha, Dolly Sharma, Abhishek Tiwari, Monika Agwani and others.
