Police seized meat of cheetal, Innova car, a licensed rifle, live cartridges and a knife from their possession on Amkhera road 
 
GOHALPUR police nabbed five accused involved in poaching of wild animal and seized meat of cheetal, Innova car, a licensed rifle, live cartridges and a knife from their possession on Amkhera road on Wednesday.
 
The accused have been identified as Sagir Ahmed Ansari (45), son of Rahamtulla Ansari, a resident of Ansar Nagar, Gohalpur, Babu Khan (30), son of Imran Khan, a resident of near Sanjeevani Hospital, Mohammed Mukhtar Ahmed (32), son of Nissar Ansari, of Azizganj, Pasiana, Ishak Khan (45), son of Mohammed Shareef Khan of Mujawar Mohalla, Garha and Maksood Khan (40), son of late Mehboob Khan, resident of Anand Nagar, Gohalpur. SHO of Gohalpur police station Ravindra Kumar Gautam informed that during routine patrolling, a police team was checking vehicles near Kudwari Petrol Pump on Amkhera road.
 
During checking, police stopped Innova car (MP40T-0158) in which five men were travelling. During search, police team seized meat of cheetal in a sack and also found a 12-bore licensed rifle, a live cartridge and a knife from them. The accused were apprehended with active efforts of police team led by SHO Ravindra Kumar Gautam, SI, Sahdev Sahu, Head Constables, Raghvendra Singh, Constables, Harsh Vardhan, Ashish, Ashish Mishra, Andesh Tripathi and Driver Sanjay.
