People’s University, Khurana & Khurana sign MoU for IPRs

To encourage innovation and to provide certain exclusive rights to the inventor or creator of that property, People’s University has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding ) with Khurana & Khurana, Advocates and IP Attorneys for IPRs (patent, copyright, trademark). To create the awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) across various disciples, People’s University in association with Khurana & Khurana, Advocates and IP Attorneys also conducted a seminar on ‘Basics of Patenting Inventions and Overview of Patent Process’ on February 8, at CSRD conference room.
 
Deepti Madan from Khurana and Khurana was the keynote speaker for the seminar. She informed about basics & fundamentals of IPR, inventions, copyright, trademark, and patent process. Students and faculty members of different constituent units of People’s University participated enthusiastically in the seminar. To encourage students Dr Neerja Mallick (Registrar), Professor Akhilesh Mittal, Dr A N Mhaske, Dr Raghvendra Gumastha, Dr Sameer Sharma, and Dr Neeraj Upmanyu were present in the seminar.
