Child rights manifesto issued by non-voluntary organisations.
 
Awareness campaign regarding the issues of children in panchayat elections will be run by voluntary organisations associated with anti child labour campaign in about 600 panchayats of the state. The announcement was made at the regional workshop held at State capital. In the workshop, UNICEF representative Bina Bandopadhyay discussed the nature and implementation points of Bal Mitra Gram Panchayat. Pradeep Nair of Save the Children presented a comparative study of the state of children in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals. Sharmila Basu of TDH informed the participants about the resolution 30-30. In the second session, State representative of CACL, Rajiv Bhargava provided detailed information on the major demands of the Panchayat Level Child Rights Campaign and the activities to be organised at the Panchayat level. Representatives from Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore, Betul, Harda, Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Vidisha districts participated in the workshop.
