Live streaming of counting process of SBC polls

“TO conduct elections of State Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh (SBCMP) with transparency various initiatives have been taken for the first time. Besides, live recording of the counting of votes, live streaming of the process would be available for all the members and candidates from different parts of State.

The responsibility has been given to organise elections of apex body for lawyers in State in proper manner. With innovative steps using I T tools and to ensure transparency the process commenced and after voting on January 17 the counting of votes would commence on February 17 at SBC MP hall,” informed Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh and Chairman of Special Committee Shashank Shekhar while addressing a press conference on Friday. Chief Election Officer and Election Officer Prashant Dubey accompanied him.
 
Keeping transparency on top in the election process held once in five years for SBCMP, the election process is being carried out under the observation of Election Observer Justice K K Trivedi, Justice H P Singh and Chief Election Officer Deepak Awasthi and Election Officer Prashant Dubey along with all the Election Officers, Judges and High Court administration and police authorities. The counting process would be held between 10 am and 5 pm every day, excluding Sunday and national holidays.
 
The ballets counting for 145 candidates franchised by over 5,6710 voters across the State would be held in various rounds and it may take around sixty to ninety days to get over and results would be declared.
