The Government of Madhya Pradesh has pledged to ensure overall development of Jabalpur. Having great scope for progress and employment, Jabalpur has more potential as compared to Indore and Bhopal, said Energy and District Minister Incharge Priyavrat Singh. The District Minister Incharge was addressing the inaugural ceremony of two-day Division-level Career Opportunity Fair at the campus of Government Mohanlal Hargovinddas Home Science and Science College for Women on Saturday.
 
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister, Lakhan Ghanghoria, MLA Vinay Saxena, MLA, Badnapur, Rajvardhan Singh Duttigaon, Collector, Bharat Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Amit Singh, Radheshyam Choubey, Kadir Soni and Principal, MH Home Science and Science College, Dr Leela Bhalavi. Singh informed that Jabalpur has been given priority in the State to establish Sanjeevani Clinics on the lines of Mohulla Clinics. many development projects including fly over, football stadium, new hospitals are soon going to initiate in the city. With the co-ordination of government and public, different development works will be done in city on the concept of PPP Model.
 
Applauding the organising comiitee , he appealed the college going students to exploit the opportunity of fair to pursue their dream professions. It may be mentioned that the two-day career fair is being organised under joint banner of Govt MH Home Science and Science College and Government Mahakoushal Arts and Commerce College.
 
More than 60 stalls have been installed in the fair, where the students studying in different colleges of Jabalpur division are being apprised with career guidance, employment and future prospective available in the fields of Army, NCC, Police, ITI, IT, IIITDM, Small and Cottage Industry, Tourism Department and other local industries, trade and employment and self-employment. Around thirty placement companies will conduct placement process with the support of CII-MCC for fulfilling nearly 4200 posts through interview on February 16, 2020.The fair is being attended by more than 10,000 students from different colleges from Jabalpur division.
