Convocation parade of 41st batch of DSPs held at MP Police Academy 
 
Convocation ceremony for DSP of 41st batch was held at parade ground of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy in Bhauri village which is situated in outskirts of Bhopal on Saturday. Home Minister Bala Bachchan was the chief guest of the programme. Director General of Police V K Singh and other senior police officers were also present.
 
Home Minister Bala Bachchan congratulated the DSPs on completion of their training and hoped that they would be able to live up to the expectations of Government by rendering better service to people. He urged them to become partner in Madhya Pradesh’s development by doing better policing. Talking about State Government’s expedition against mafia and anti-social elements, he told that faith of people has increased towards the State Government after anti-mafia drive.
 
Afterwards, he also felicitated best performing DSPs with shield and citation. Anjali Raghuvansi and Poonam Thapa were felicitated by chief guest with best trainee officer award. Under best outdoor training, Kunal Mandloi received first prize, Pankaj Mishra bagged second prize and Rahul Katare got third prize respectively. Parade Commander Bhavna Dangi and Parade 2 IC Gaurav Patil were also felicitated.
 
 
After convocation parade, 37 DSPs, including 17 women DSPs, became part of the Madhya Pradesh Police. Earlier, Home Minister Bala Bachchan boarded an open jeep to do inspection of convocation parade. Senior police officers including ADG (Training) Anuradha Shankar, ADG (Welfare) Vijay Katariya, Director of Madhya Pradesh Police Academy K T Vaiphei, ADG Bhopal Zone Adarsh Katiyar, IG CID Makrand Deoskar etc were also present.
