Four students, including two sisters, got injured after a van carrying them to school was hit by a speeding passenger bus near Reliance Fresh store in the early morning hours of Saturday. SHO of Koh-e-Fiza Sudhir Arjariya was quickly on the scene of the accident and he contacted the parents of the students who were taken to the hospital.

The accident was worse and the kids of the school were terrified. According to police, the incident took place around 7:20 am when a Tata Magic van (MP04 T-9201) was carrying 12 children to Campion School located at Khajuri Sadak when it reached near Reliance Fresh store at Koh-e-Fiza Chouraha, side-swapped a passing passenger bus (MP09 FA-3251) attached with Qureshi Travels which was heading toward Guna from Nadra bus stand, Bhopal and after hitting it rammed into a road divider. SHO Arjariya said that we breathed a sigh of relief as the accident wasn’t worse and no one sustained life-threatening injuries from the crash in the accident. Four students got injured.

Aarna who was student of 2nd class, got her one figure amputated, Aisha (class 7 student) sustained injuries in her both legs whereas two sisters Bilkis (7th standard) sustained head injuries and Amana (class 3rd) too got injured. Aarna is hospitalised in Vishnoi Hospital in Rohit Nagar whereas Amna and Bilkis were admitted to Unique Hospital at Taj-Ul Masajid. After the accident, the passenger bus driver escaped from the spot fearing of being thrashed by the angry public. A case under sections 279, 337 and 427 of the IPC has been registered by the police against absconding bus driver and the ill-fated passenger bus has been seized by the police. Notably, the Koh-e-Fiza area is a congested locality therefore the speed for vehicles here should be reduced.
