Noted Screenwriter Kamlesh Pandey was talking to ‘The Hitavada’ during his visit to the city 
 
“JABALPUR is blessed with natural treasury of forest, wildlife, culture, heritage architecture and unmatchable geological topography. Cinema and tourism are complemented to each other and Jabalpur is naturally enriched for promotion of both the industries. Promotion of shooting in Jabalpur will explore its tourism and industrial potential to generate new employment opportunities and improve lifestyle of residents,” said Kamlesh Pandey, noted Screenwriter while talking to ‘The Hitavada’ during his visit to the city, on Sunday.
 
Kamlesh Pandey reached Jabalpur along with several film producers and directors to explore potential of film shooting in Jabalpur. Writer of blockbuster movies like Tezaab, Saudagar etc Kamlesh Pandey said that, Jabalpur has tremendous potential for shooting of historic, mythological, family and horror movies. Cinema plays a key role in exploring beauty of Kashmir and several other unexplored spots throughout the world. Indians are next to Chinese citizens in touring the world but several magnificent spots in India are still unexplored. According to Pandey, Dhuandhar is a better spot for shooting than Niagra falls while the scene of zigzag flow of Narmada through marble rocks and sea of clean green water at Bargi Dam are not available around the globe.
 
Marvellous architecture of Chousath Yogini temple is itself significant for mythological movies while Madan Mahal Fort and its adjoining area is best place for making a horror movie. Besides this, several other natural spots like balancing rock, MP High Court building, Devtal and other heritage buildings are perfect locations for film shooting. Jabalpur has another natural asset of ponds which are not available in any other city. Filmfare and IIFA awards winner emphasised over developing adequate infrastructure to facilitate minimum 150-200 crew members in the city. Requirement of generators, transportation, vanity van and different trades like tailor, electrician, drycleaner, carpenter, helpers needs skilled manpower to assist film shooting in the city.
