The Higher Secondary School Examination (HSSC) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education would begin on Tuesday February 18. It will conclude on March 23, 2020. Board has made all preparations. Divisional Chairman Ravikant Deshpande said that Board has reputation of conduction examination without being facing any untoward incident. This time also Board has kept flying squads ready that would monitor students involving in the act of copying. Examination would be held at more than 400 centres.
 
The board has also identified some sensitive centres where the police force too would be deployed. Nagpur Divisional Board has started helpline to get information of timetable, admit card, subject change, counseling to students and parents. These helplines will function between 9 am and 7 pm. This helpline will be made available to the HSSC students from February 18 and for SSC students from March 3. The contact officer for HSSC will be Senior Superintendent B K Kinnake while for SSC N B Durani will be the concerned officer. This helpline can be used by the students of Bhandara, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Wardha, Gadchiroli, Gondia.
 
The numbers are 0712-2565403 and 2553401. Board has also taken care of students and parents facing stress of the examination. It has provided the numbers of counsellors for the districts Nagpur, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Wardha, Gadchiroli, Gondia. Students urged to come early at Dr Ambedkar College centre Dr Ambedkar College, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur with the centre code 0344 render the information that the cement road work in front of the college main gate is in progress. Sensing the situation it may create a traffic problem. Hence, Dr Kabir Rawlekar (Vice Principal and the conductor of the Higher Secondary board exam 2020) has appealed the students who have got Dr Ambedkar College as the board centre to come early. The first paper of board exam is English on February 18 should take a note that the paper timing of board examination is 11 am and reporting time for the students is 10.30 am. College has urged students to come early before the reporting time due to traffic inconvenience.
