In the wake of increase in unfair means cases in the board examinations for last few years, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has extended the number of sensitive and super sensitive examination centres to avoid such irregularities during the examinations.
 
This year, there will be around 750 sensitive and super sensitive examination centres identified by the board to conduct high school and higher secondary examinations. MPBSE Public Relations Officer S K Chaurasia told ‘The Hitavada’, “The board has increased the number of sensitive and super sensitive examination centres in order to keep strict vigilance during the conduct of examinations in a peaceful manner.
 
There will be around 750 sensitive and super sensitive examination centres including around 500 super sensitive examination centres. Maximum numbers of super sensitive centres are identified at those centres where a highest number of unfair means (UFM) cases were registered.”
 
Strict surveillance has been arranged at sensitive and supersensitive centres by the board this year so that unfair means cases would not take place. The most sensitive centres are Bhind, Morena and Gwalior and others are as per the last year record. For last three years, these centres are being witnessed with higher number of UFM cases. The board has arranged various facilities in order to bring more transparency in the examination.
 
There will be strict inspection and surveillance in order to avoid any kind of unfair means and irregularities. Alike last year, the board will arrange stringent security at the examination centres to avoid any kind of unfair means cases this year too. Special flying squads and CCTV surveillance will also be done at centres.
 
According to the officials, in Bhopal division, the board examinations will be held at 97 centres. Among these centres, 17 are sensitive and four are super sensitive centres declared by the board. Around 33,000 examinees would be appearing in the examinations in the State capital. The schools which have been marked as sensitive and super sensitive centres in the state capital are located at Nazirabad, Lalaria, Padariya Jat and Kacchi. MPBSE higher secondary and high school examinations which are going to start from March 2 and 3 respectively will be held at 7,594 centres in State. The higher secondary examinations will be held at 3,658 centres while the high school examinations will be held at 3936 centres. The complete list of centres and super sensitive and sensitive centres list will be released soon by the board after the final check.
 
Youth booked for abetting suicide
 
The deceased got depressed and took extreme step. Police said that the details of Devendra have been searched and his search has been started. The police have registered a case under Section 306 of the IPC against the accused. Meanwhile, police have booked a 25-year-old youth for harassing his 20-year-old woman demanding dowry at Suhaya village of Berasia tehsil; a case was registered by police on Monday. Berasia police have booked a 25-year-old man for harassing his wife who committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her house at Suhaya village on the July 10, 2019.
 
The deceased, Radha Bai was harassed by her husband over demands of dowry and he used to pressurize deceased to bring money for household expenses. During the investigation after the death police found that the deceased was harassed by her husband over money. Body was sent for the post-mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under Section 304B against the accused husband and started further investigation.
