Amidst the growing speculations that relations between him and Jyotiraditya Scindia have gone sour, Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that he does not get angry with anyone, not even with Shivraj Singh Chouhan then how he can be angry with Scindia? He was speaking to mediapersons on the sidelights of workshop on Alternative Finance for Projects which was attended by ex-Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia in State capital on Tuesday.

The statement of CM Kamal Nath regarding his alleged anger with Jyotiraditya Scindia is being seen as an exercise to hush up the brewing controversy. Actually some days back, co-ordination committee meeting was held in Delhi. When waiting reporters asked question that Jyotiraditya Scindia had threatened to hit the roads if manifesto point regarding regularisation of guest teachers and farm loan waiver was not fulfilled, Kamal Nath told bluntly that “Toh Utar Jain” (let him hit the roads).

It was after this that knives were out of grooves in Congress as Scindia supporter ministers have told that it will be not alone Scindia rather entire Congress will hit the roads. Since then the alleged cold war between Chief Minister Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia came to open, leaving political experts to fathom that what will be an outcome of this cold war in Madhya Pradesh politics. Notably, Jyotiraditya Scindia is feeling isolated in Madhya Pradesh politics after he lost Lok Sabha election in 2019, and no assurance from party high command that he will get the reins of State Congress President.

Currently, Chief Minister Kamal Nath is handling the state Congress President’s post. Jyotiraditya Scindia during his tour to Tikamgarh had addressed agitating guest teachers that party’s manifesto is like a sacred book and each and every point of it will be fulfilled. He also assured the agitating guest teachers that he will hit streets along with them, become their shield and sword if their demand is not fulfilled. This statement of Scindia has left Congress shocked.
