MADHYA Pradesh Power Generating Company’s thermal power stations registered a record power generation of 1099.7 lakh units in a day on February 18. Previous highest thermal power generation in a day was 1074.5 lakh units registered on March 25, 2019. In this record production, Amarkantak Thermal Power Station, Chachai produced 50.6 lakh units, while Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station, Birsinghpur registered production of 289.6 lakh units.
 
Satpura Thermal Power Station, Sarni produced 261.8 lakh units and Singhaji Thermal Power Station, Khandwa contributed 497.7 lakh units in a day. On the achievement of thermal power stations of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company, State Minister for Energy, Priyavrat Singh, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy), Mohammed Suleman, Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, Managing Director, Neetesh Vyas, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company and Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company, Managing Director, PAR Bende, Generating Company, Director (Technical), AK Tailor and Director (Commercial), Manjeet Singh have congratulated engineers, officers and employees of the company on achieving a new milestone of record electricity production.
