Customers irked over Vodafone-Idea poor network connectivity

Customers of Voda-Idea on Thursday were irked over the company as they faced network connectivity issue. They faced issues like poor coverage, call drop and worst Internet speed. “Such situation is arising since three months,” said Anil Jadhav, a customer who is associated with the service since 10 years. “I am a pre-paid customer and paid the amount for three months.
 
This is not a right time for me to switch over to another service providers. I have given my mobile number to various dealers. If I change my number now it will be difficult for me to run my wholesale business of clothes,” he added Ramesh Kulkarni, a retired official said that the poor network of Voda-Idea has disappointed him to a larger extent. “There is marriage of my daughter on Sunday. I am busy in making all arrangements. There is frequent call drop. I am unable to connect with people who have been assigned to do various works. It is not possible for me to visit their shops for petty things,” he said.
 
Seema Thakur said she was the customer of Voda-Idea since five years. “I am facing lot of disappointment. My son is studying in US. On various occasions, I am unable to talk to my son due to poor network,” she said. Lot of customers to whom The Hitavada talked on Thursday said, if the company is unable to provide service, it should shut down shutters. At least, the message will reach to all that the company has withdrawn service and therefore there is no solution.
 
They said, it was not possible for everyone to keep two connection as for which they have to keep dual handset. “Why one should invest in another dual handset when I had already purchased premium handset,” said Rajesh Bagde. Customers said that the company should first improve the network connectivity as early as possible. Nitin Kulkarni said, it was not possible for him to complete the college project as there was data problem. “The speed of data is very slow, I am unable to note down some important problem from Google,” he said.
