Chichli police unfolded a blind murder mystery and succeeded in apprehending the accused. Man was killed by his younger brother for torturing him in drunken stupor. The accused has been identified as Hariom Kaurav (29), son of Badde Bhaiyya Kaurav, a resident of Thalbada village. Additional SP, Rajesh Tiwari disclosed this while addressing a press conference.
 
Additional SP, Rajesh Tiwari informed that, on February 16, Chichli police received information of finding the body of an unidentified man on road in Thalbada village. In prima facie of the investigation, police expected that the man was killed in a road accident. Post mortem report confirmed that the deceased named Guddu alias Ramkumar Kaurav (40), son of Badde Bhaiyya Kaurav was murdered by hitting his head. Superintendent of Police, Gurkaran Singh had constituted a special team under the supervision of Additional SP, Rajesh Tiwari and SDOP, Gadarwara, SR Yadav. Investigating the case, police learnt that the deceased was lived with his younger brother Hariom Kaurav in a house at their farm.
 
Police learnt that the deceased was addicted to liquor and always spent agricultural income earned by his younger brother in consuming liquor and argued with him in drunken stupor. Police further received information that grandfather, grandmother and father had killed his mother. Police collected evidences of murder and nabbed the suspect Hariom Kaurav. In the interrogation, the accused broke out and confessed the killing of his elder brother Guddu alias Ramkumar and destroyed the evidences.Chichli police registered a case under Sections 302 and 201 of the IPC and produced the accused before the court.
 
Blind murder mystery was solved under the supervision of Additional SP, Rajesh Tiwari, SDOP, Gadarwara, SR Yadav by police team comprised of SHO of Chichli police station, Ajay Khubragade, ASI, Sanjay Suryavanshi, ASI, Anil Singh, Head Constable, Rajesh Sharma, SI, Ravindra Pradhan, Constables, Sanjay Mishra, Jitendra, Anurag Kaurav, Laxmi Nagpure, Rajendra Patel, Rajesh, Mohit and Sanjay Thakur of Cyber Cell.
