CII Vidarbha Zone Annual Meet 2020 is being organised on February 25, 2020 at Millennium Hall, Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur from 6 pm onwards. At the annual meeting, it will showcase the various initiatives that the Council had undertaken during the year and envisage a new agenda for the Vidarbha Region for 2020-21. The deliberations will revolve around the steps to be taken to maintain and sustain the region’s growth trajectory in the coming years and to leverage partnerships to achieve this growth.

 

 

In order to engineer the region’s economy with a new growth trajectory, there is a need to promote innovative entrepreneurship, have enhanced digitisation, industry 4.0, increase public investment in infrastructure, relook at water and waste management, continue the strong focus on Ease of Doing Business initiatives and concentrate on rural growth centres to unlock potential of low productive farm labour by focusing on agro processing sector. With this vision to reorient the economy and to foster inclusive, progressive, balanced, and competitive growth, CII Vidarbha Zone has adopted the theme ‘Decoding Challenges for Growth’ for its annual meeting 2020. Coinciding with the annual meeting, a CXO Roundtable on ‘Decoding Challenges for Growth’ is being organised, where representation of CXOs from various industries across the sector will deliberate on the topic.
