Narmada Gau Kumbh begins with grandeur

On February 25, 2020 a procession would be taken out. At 2 pm from Umaghat the Maa Narmada Pujan, Kanya Pujan and Kalash yatra would be taken out 
 
Narmada Gau Kumbh opened amidst graceful presence of Seers and Saints at the bank of river Narmada giving message of protecting pious river Narmada and its diversity, cow and religion, on Monday. Amidst sea of belief, devotion and expressing the emotions of devoting to the service of Almighty God, rituals of Peshvai offering observed in gracious presence of religious heads, Saints from different parts of the country. Founder Patron of the organisation Jagadguru Dr Swami Shayamdevacharya Maharaj, Organiser, Dr Swami Narsinghdas Maharaj and other Saints led the procession.
 
Main Organiser of Narmada Gau Kumbh, Gaurav Bhanot attended the peshvai procession. The Narmada Gau Kumbh being organised with support of Government of Madhya Pradesh under the presidentship of Finance Minister, Tarun Bhanot for coming nine days series of religious and cultural programmes would be organised. In the afternoon the Peshvai Procession commenced from Narsingh Mandir. In the procession brass band teams followed by eminent religious dignitaries, decorated houses, chariots, team of drummers and Saints blessings the devotees remain attraction for the mammoth gathering on route of the procession. The presence of Naga Sadhus in the procession, religious heads on chariots, vehicles remained an attraction for devotees thronged at road sides of the procession route.
 
Special band team from Nagpur added festivity to the celebration. At different points from Gorakhpur to Gwarighat various organisations welcomed the procession. At Gorakhpur police Station, brass band team of Police welcomed the procession. On February 25, 2020 a procession would be taken out. At 2 pm from Umaghat the Maa Narmada Pujan, Kanya Pujan and Kalash yatra would be taken out. During the procession extensive CCTV surveillance, police bandobast and various security points with the officials of District Administration ensuring proper security at all the 10 phases established on over 12 acres of area.
