SIDBI, NSSH & DICCI launch ‘Swavalamban Sankalp’ campaign

The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) in association with National Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribe Hub (NSSH) and Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI) will be jointly staring ‘Swavalamban Sankalp - Mega Campaign’ a series of one-day outreach, awareness and business opportunity programme pan India to give fillip to ‘Stand Up India (SUI) Scheme’. DICCI Founder Chairman Dr Milind Kamble announced this at a press conference on Sunday.
 
The campaign is scheduled to be held at 30 locations across the country. The programme of the series shall be inaugurated in Nagpur on March 2 at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur at the hands of Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjiv Kumar in presence of District Collector Ravindra Thakare, DICCI Founder Chairman Dr Milind Kamble, DICCI West India President Nishchay Shelke, Vidarbha President Gopal Wasnik, NSIC DGM Ramdas Tekam, SIDBI Branch Manager D Prasad Rao, Bank of India, Zonal Head Vilas Parate, Vinod Meshram and others.
 
The press conference was addressed by Milind Kamble while Nishchay Shelke, Gopal Wasnik, Kranti Gedam, Rajesh Dawande, Dr Pramal Gayakwad, Ajit Ramteke and Pintu Borkar were also present on the occasion. SUI scheme is a flagship programme of Government of India launched by Prime Minister in 2016 to strengthen the MSME ecosystem targeted at development of unserved / underserved youth and entrepreneurs from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The one-day programme is a participative interaction by all stake holders, providing platform for awareness and genesis of business development.
